Document preview settings
Page restrictions determine the number of pages shown on Scribd to prospective buyers. By default, Scribd will automatically determine the ideal number of pages to display. Regardless of which setting you choose, Scribd will always show at least 1 page in the document preview.
Let Scribd automatically determine the right amount of content to show. Scribd will determine which pages to show and how many to show.
Show a sample of _____ pages from the document. Specify the maximum number of pages that will be shown in the document preview. Scribd will automatically choose which pages to show.
Show ____ % of document. Specify the maximum percentage of content that will be shown in the document preview. Scribd will automatically choose which pages to show.
Show exactly these pages. Scribd will show only the pages that you specify. Scribd page numbers begin from the absolute first page of the document (including covers, prefaces, and tables of contents). You can use ranges—such as "1-5"—as well as individual page numbers, and you can combine them with commas. For example, you could enter, "1-5, 13, 22-23, 30-34, 38".
